ABOUT OUR

ADULT FITNESS PROGRAMS

We offer cardio kickboxing and yoga classes in addition to formal martial arts to balance your exercise and fitness routines.

These classes do not have a formal belt-ranking system like the martial arts classes which can help alleviate the intimidation that new students can sometimes feel training with long-time students. Your only goal is your personal best!

CARDIO KICKBOXING

Cardio kick-boxing class is a group fitness work out that combines martial arts techniques with boxing skills to achieve heart health and tone muscles in the whole body. This high-energy workout challenges the beginner and elite athlete alike.

Our cardio kickboxing will allow you to build stamina, improve coordination and flexibility, and burn calories as you build lean muscle with this fun and challenging workout. An experienced instructor leads cardio kick-boxing class by demonstrating choreographed movements such as punches, kicks, and knee strikes set to fast-paced music.

FLOW YOGA BY KRISTEN

Flow yoga is a style of yoga that encourages continual flowing movement from pose to pose rather than a stand-and-hold technique. It improves joint flexibility and circulation in a way that is safe and effective for all ages and physical fitness levels.

Our yoga classes are taught by Kristen Cowan, a professional dancer and certified in ACE Personal trainer, Pilates, barre, TRX, group fitness, water aerobics, Meal prep for weight loss, RYT 200hr, and Reiki 2. Find out more about Kristen and her practice at kristencowan.com

Our family loves it here. My daughter started taking Karate here 2 years ago. She loved it so much, she now also takes jujitsu as well. The instructors are all fantastic. She has more confidence, she's more active, and her discipline and focus have improved. I also started taking the adult fitness classes here and I am so glad I did! They let you go at your own pace, and offer modified moves for beginners like me. Highly recommend this class as well for any adults looking to get into shape.

ADULT FITNESS PROGRAMS FAQ

Short answer - absolutely not! We have members of all health and fitness levels, and our classes are designed to fit around each of these levels. The only thing that we ask is that you bring your best attitude when you come to one of our classes.

Wearing your karate gear is perfectly acceptable. However, you may also choose to wear yoga pants or just sweats and a tshirt. You'll also want to bring a towel and a bottle of water, along with a positive mindset.

We understand how busy your life can be; we would love to see you at least once a week. We believe that once a week will be a good start for you to build your overall endurance and capability to implement the basic kickboxing moves or begin improving in your flexibility.

Of course. Although we must say that you will get what you put in. If you follow a consistent workout pattern, you are bound to see the results that you are seeking. On average, kickboxers burn 820 calories per hour.

No, we love teaching new members! We will teach you everything that you need to know.

If you are a current member of our kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or our martial arts programs, then this program is free to you. Please see the front desk for pricing if you are not a current member.
